Themed Lego Advent Calendars Through The Years

Lego started creating Advent calendars starting out in 1998.

The first one was Lego Advent calendar 1298.
It had 216 pieces and had 2 minifigures.

Lego Advent calendar 1076 was the second Lego advent calendar available in 1999.
It had 229 pieces and 1 minifigure.

In 2000, Lego came out with their Advent Calendar 2250.
This had 240 pieces and did not come with any minifigures and only had buildable models

In 2001, The Lego Advent calendar 4124 went on sale.
It had 231 pieces and was yet another festive Christmas themed set.

In 2003 the Lego Advent calendar 4024 went on sale.
This only had 24 pieces.

In 2004, Lego created their Advent calendar 4924 which had 335 pieces.
In the same year, Lego released a 2nd calendar based on their Clikits product. This  Clikits Advent calendar 7575 had 24 pieces.

In 2005, Lego  released their City Advent Calendar 7324, this piece had 203 pieces  including 9 minifigures.

In this same year, Lego also had another Advent Calendar, 4424 but for some reason  it was never released for sale.

In 2006, Lego released yet another seasonal City Advent calendar with 257 pieces  and 9 minifigures.

In 2007, we saw the release of 2 calendars:
The City Advent Calendar 7907, which had 232 pieces and 8 minifigures and the Belville Advent Calendar 7600. This one had 215 pieces and 1 minifigure.

2008 saw another 2 calendars being released:
The City Advent calendar 7724 which had 196 pieces and 10 minifigures and the  Castle Advent Calendar with 176 pieces and 9 minifigures.

In 2009, the 2 calendars released that year were the City Advent Calendar 7687,  with 257 pieces and 8 minifigures and the Pirates Advent Calendar 6299 with 148  pieces and 8 minifigures.

The 2 calendars being released in 2010 were the, once again, the City Advent  Calendar 2824 with 271 pieces and 6 minifigures and the Kingdoms Advent Calendar  7952 with 167 pieces and 9 minifigures.

2011: This year sees the City Advent Calendar 7553 with 232 pieces and the Star  Wars Advent Calendar 7958 .

This is the first time a Star Wars  Advent calendar has been created. It has 266 pieces.
