One of the negative points about this car seems to be the assembly of it. It requires a hammer to put together and therefore you are advised not to do this when your child is taking a nap!

Note: This car does not have a seat belt which is a shame as it would be a great safety element. Although the car is closed all around and there is nowhere for your child to fall out of, many parents feel that having a strap to hold their children firmly in (as you would have with a stroller) would have been a good idea.
Therefore many parents tend to make their own safety straps and attach them to the pole, which seems to do the job.
The only other negative point seems to be that the wheels are made of plastic and not rubber and hence they are quite loud!

It has a steering wheel but this does not steer the car (which parents will be relieved to hear about).
Children love to copy their parents and so being able to move the steering wheel and push buttons on the dashboard are cute little things that children will love.
The Little Tikes Cozy Car comes with a removable floorboard – by putting the floorboard in the car and using the handle, an adult can push a child around with ease by using the 38-inch metal handle that comes with it.
Or, by removing the floorboard, your toddler can push himself or herself around by using their own feet and an adult can still guide with the handle.
At a later stage, when your toddler is a little older, you can remove the push handle and allow your toddler to steer and push by themselves.
