The Monster High Lagoona Blue Doll is one of those very trendy fashion dolls that seem to be all the rage right now. Lagoona Blue is the daughter of the infamous Sea Monster.
Since all the Monster High dolls come with their very own unique pet, Lagoona Blue is no exception and also comes with Neptuna, her pet piranha.
We’re not sure what it is about the Monster High dolls that make kids want to collect them (and adults too seem to like these trendy-setting dolls).
It might be their sense of fashion or the detailing that each of the dolls has, that makes them so different to other fashion dolls.
Lagoona, for example, has webbed fingers as well as fin attachments on her forearms and the sides of her calves. She has a blue-ish tint on her skin and a to-die-for fish scale themed outfit. Oh, and she wears fish net stockings too. Can you see the level of detail that has gone into one of these dolls?
Securing Lagoona Blue’s Arms So They Don’t Fall Off
The Monster High fashion dolls have removable hands and feet and moveable joints so that it is easier to dress them in the cool new Monster High costumes.
However, with the Lagoona Blue doll, it seems that some parents are concerned that the arms are a bit too loose or they get quite loose over time.
According to some parents, a solution to this is to use clean nail polish around the peg and socket joint. First, remove the arm out of the socket.
Then coat the peg part of the joint with a light layer of clear nail polish, let it dry fully.
Lastly, reinsert the arm back into the socket.
You can add more nail polish or file it down with a nail file if you find you have put too much on and the arm is too tight.
Either way, you’ll find that the arm will now fit securely in place.
